Indicates that an email cannot be delivered to the recipient due to temporary failures such as: a full mailbox, a connection problem, a technical issue at the mailbox provider, or deferral of the connecting IP by the mailbox provider due to volume thresholds and other various factors. At ActiveCampaign, a contact can soft bounce three times before it is removed from further sends.
