Occurs when the address/domain doesn’t exist at all. This can be caused by anything from typos to deleted user accounts. If you receive a hard bounce, immediately removing them from your list is the best course of action, as a hard bounce indicates a permanent reason that an email cant be delivered and that this address should not be mailed to in the future.
